Mattagami Heights Website Launch

Congratulations on your official new website launch! Thursday, May 25th, 2017, NEOnet team members Paul Ouimette and Phil Barton were among many that attended.  The community came out in force to enjoy “Happy Hour” at the Full Beard Brewing Company, to sample a local beer and burger.  Not just any burger, but a delicious, grass-fed, all natural, 100% beef, gourmet burger produced from locally raised Limousin cows topped off with all-local condiments and grilled to perfection on a Traeger BBQ.  And, not just any beer but a locally brewed, creamy, full-bodied ale created by homegrown craftsmen, passionate for their trade.

Hosted by Noella and Danny Farrell – 3rd generation farmers and owners of the local Mattagami Heights Farm – was a celebration of the launch of their new website,  The new site, was developed by a local web developer and subsidized through NEOnet’s BEAM program, was officially launched at this event.  A tremendous success, the affair was supported by other local businesses, including buns from the Golden Crust Bakery and the Traeger BBQ donated by J&B Cycle & Marine.

While the burger and beer were free, donations were accepted for the Good Food Box Program raising well over $100.  There was a draw prize for a beautiful basket containing all local items which, unfortunately, NEOnet did not win :(.  The basket included items from Black Spruce Gallery and Framing, Big Barn Acres, Bella Esthetics & Spa, Full Beard Brewing Company, The Fishbowl Restaurant, Boreal Food Studio, Golden Crust Specialty Bakery, Radical Gardens and homemade bread by Kelley Wright.  With over 70 entries, the lucky winner of this beautiful basket was Melissa Lamarche.

All in all, this was a well-attended, amazing kick-off for a renowned and growing local company.  NEOnet is pleased to help, in a small way, another enterprising, Northeastern Ontario business to grow and spread their wings.
