On Thursday October 19th, Josh and MJ travelled to Iroquois Falls to participate in the Seniors Information Fair. The fair, hosted by the Older Adults Centres’ Association of Ontario (OACAO), was well attended by residents of Iroquois Falls. The fair also hosted several compelling speakers from the Ministry of Transportation, Elder Abuse Ontario, Ministry of Finance and the law community.
The NEOnet TechSocial for Seniors program garnered a lot of interest with the residents of Iroquois Falls. It was the perfect opportunity to talk to our key demographic about our new, exciting program and what they hope to achieve by participating in the workshops. This program aims to reduce social isolation while empowering older adults through mobile technologies.

The OACAO put on a great event that was beneficial for both participants and exhibitors. Next up, Josh and MJ will be in Smooth Rock Falls on October 26th for the Seniors Information Fair. The following day, on October 27th, we will be officially launching the program with the help of local dignitaries and the Ontario Trillium Foundation during the Healthy Aging Expo at Science Timmins.
