Seniors participating in the Seniors Computer Centres ProjectNEOnet is pleased to announce that the Seniors Computer Training initiative has been revived. In 2006-2007, a Seniors Computer Centre project was created in partnership with the Ontario Trillium Foundation to provide basic computer training to seniors throughout Northeastern Ontario.  Drawing on the success of this initiative and increasing demand for training, NEOnet has updated all training material to offer both basic computer skills and more advanced functions such as email and Facebook.

To date, NEOnet has led 3 successful workshops at the Cochrane Public Library, 1 in Smooth Rock Falls and 4 at the Iroquois Falls Public Library. Participation has been strong and attendees continue to express their appreciation for the work NEOnet has done, demonstrating the need to continue.
