The project will teach and assist seniors to leverage the internet and mobile devices to increase their connections around them, through delivering information and educational workshops. In addition to improving digital literacy for seniors through education and training, it will aid and empower them to be independent while using the internet and mobile technology to connect with family and friends, caregivers and social economic services.
The program will be available throughout our catchment, which will be available in both English and French.
NEOnet will be reaching out to new and existing partners, to help us achieve our goals and goals of individuals we will serve. More information will be provided to interested participants in September as we share more program information during the Healthy Aging Expo in Timmins (October 27th, 2017) and others in our region.
